LifePath Systems is a non-profit, governmental organization, established in 1986 as Collin County Mental Health Mental Retardation Center.  LifePath is governed by a Board of Trustees appointed by the Collin County Commissioners Court.  All of our programs are staff by professional trained, experienced and credentialed care-givers.

 

The Telephone Operator/Receptionist position provides first point of contact to callers and visitors.  Work involves answering telephones, routing calls, greeting visitors and supervising part time receptionists.  Work involves maintaining mailings lists, data entry, maintaining medical records, facility management.  Works under general supervision.  Provides support to co-workers with special needs.

We are searching for someone that can assist the Chief Executive Office on a part time basis.  We need someone that also has experience working with a Board of Trustees.  This person will work two (8 hr) days per week on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Provides services to adults in our Intellectual Developmental Disabilities division in Allen.  Services include face to face assessments, rehabilitation and medication education services, as well as administering injections.  The Registered Nurse works as part of the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities staff to ensure quality services to all center clients in compliance with the principles and standards of the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners rules and regulations, local, state and federal statues/laws applicable to service delivery. Registered Nurse with Behavioral Health Experience (Part time - 20 hours per week)

Provides services to both adults and children in the center’s Behavioral Health clinics (Plano and McKinney).  Services include face to face assessments, rehabilitation and medication education services, as well as administering injections.  Other responsibilities include triaging and completing calls received on the center’s medication line and coordinating responses to clients on abnormal lab values.  The Registered Nurse works as part of the Medical Unit and Mental Health staff to ensure quality services to all center clients in compliance with the principles and standards of the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners rules and regulations, local, state and federal statues/laws applicable to service delivery. The primary goals of the Employment Specialist are to assist persons with disabilities identify their employment interests and abilities and find good jobs in the community.  This is a highly independent position that requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, problem solving ability, sales and time management skills.  Activities will support the mission of Lifepath Systems/STARR and put people with disabilities and their families at the center of the planning and service process.  This position also requires a willingness to cultivate ongoing relationships with employers and community partners.  Ninety percent of your time is spent out in the field and with the people we serve.
