A Letter From the Director

The years from birth through three years old represent the most critical time in a child’s development. Research shows that if we can impact a child’s life in the first few years, then we can impact the adult that child will become.

As a parent of a baby or toddler, you may be looking for answers regarding your child’s development. You can find not only help for your child but support for you and your child’s caregivers. The Early Childhood Intervention(ECI) program of LifePath Systems is here to help.

ECI provides supports to families with children from birth to three years old with delays in their development. Infants and toddlers learn from experiences and the people around them in their daily routines. We come to you and your child – providing support in the places where your child normally lives and plays, such as your home, child care center or other community settings. Our focus is to support your family within your daily lives.

Developmental Services, Service Coordination, Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Nutrition Services & Social Work Services are just some of the services your family may receive. The ECI staff is composed of highly trained professionals who are required to keep up with all of the latest research in order to provide the highest quality services. ECI of Lifepath Systems also offers, specialized therapies, parent-to-parent supports and educational meetings.

First STEPS

As children grow and develop, the world around them has a lasting effect on their future.  Parenting is the most difficult and important job anyone can have.  Parenting, a practice as old as human life itself, is considered by many to be the singular most important form of human interaction.  In our First STEPS program, families identified to have abuse or neglect may receive parent education using evidence based curriculum,  case management, counseling, speech therapy, and nutritional services to assist them in ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for their children.  The family must have an open CPS case.  First STEPS serves Collin and Rockwall Counties.

Please let us know how we can help you and your child. We are here to help in whatever way possible.
