Welcome to LifePath Systems’ website. Thanks for visiting. LifePath Systems is a community-based, non-profit organization created specifically to help individuals and their families dealing with mental illnesses, intellectual disabilities and developmental delays. We collaborate extensively with the 38 other community mental health mental retardation centers in Texas to ensure the best possible care for Texans.

LifePath has been in operation since 1986, meeting the needs of the people of Collin County and the surrounding areas. Our professional staff are highly trained and credentialed, and most importantly they care about each individual they serve.

On this website you can find:

  • How to get started
  • Warning signs and milestones that may indicate a need for assistance
  • Services available through the Mental Health, Early Childhood Intervention or Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities divisions
  • An overview of the often complex array of state-funded or federally-funded services, benefits and eligibility criteria
  • Other resources that you may want or need
  • The LifePath Systems organization, history and Board of Trustees.

We hope you find valuable resources or the contact information you need, whether you are looking for help for yourself or someone you care about, looking for information about disabilities or services available, or exploring places to volunteer or donate.

Our commitment to you is that we will:

  • Listen to and address the issues that you see as most important
  • Provide you or your family with the best, most effective treatment possible
  • Value feedback from clients, families, staff and others, and will always believe that we can continue to improve.

A portion of our funding comes from state, federal and local taxes. We strive to use all funds as efficiently as possible and appreciate the partnerships LifePath has with county, city, state governments, local employers and schools. Assisting all individuals to live more independently and to have better quality of life improves and strengthens our communities. Check back often for updates, new opportunities to donate or job openings that have become available. There are several places on the website where you can contact us to find out more. Please feel free to use those. We are here to help.
