BILLING CLERK POSITION PERFORMS GENERAL BILLING, COLLECTIONS AND SECRETARIAL/CLERICAL FUNCTIONS.

  • Performs general clerical/secretarial functions in the billing department.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook and Word experience a must and Excel experience is preferred
  • Must have a working knowledge of database systems.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist billing department with all data entry functions, such as- EOB, payments and client data.
  • Assist with preparing monthly clients statements.
  • Assist billing manager and contract manager updating spreadsheets electronic filing
  • Serve as primary back up to receptionist for Administration office, answering multi-line phone system.
  • Distribution of incoming mail and electronic deposit of all checks received.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); one year medical office experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must have a valid Texas Drivers License and a good driving record
