SUMMARY

This role is a key team-player position in a constantly busy environment that requires accuracy, attention to details, initiative and a pro-active approach to duties and responsibilities while working with clients, clinical team and co-workers.  The qualified applicant must demonstrate a positive attitude, considerable latitude for independent judgment, professional ethics, appearance and conduct.  Prefer bilingual (English/Spanish).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greeting clients
  • Appointment scheduling
  • Answering multi-line phone system
  • Verifying insurance
  • Collecting co-payments
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Must be organized, a self-starter, and able to work in timely manner
  • Dispersing mail and lobby maintenance

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Scheduling Software and basic computer operational skills is a plus.

High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); 1 year + medical billing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must have a valid Texas Drivers License and a good driving record
