Performs work in the area of contract management and quality assurance. This position is responsible for monitoring contracts and utilization of services. The position requires maintenance of contract databases insuring best practices for billing, following Medicaid and state guidelines. Review of current and existing contracts to identify contract expiration and coordinate with appropriate staff and community partners, when necessary. Train potential contractors and staff in the area of Abuse and Neglect, Infection Control, client rights and Confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance. This position will process invoices for submission to accounts payable staff for reimbursement within scheduled timelines.


  • Perform contract management activities in the area of credentialing;
  • Read, analyze and interpret professional and clinical documents, financial reports and legal documents;
  • Respond to common inquires or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or the community;
  • Be able to write clearly and concisely;
  • Present verbal information effectively to all levels of agency staff, consumers and the community.


  • Bachelor degree in Social Work, Psychology, Special Education or related field;
  • 1-3 years of experience in services to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities; or equivalent education and experience.
  • Moderate proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel


A valid Texas Driver License is required.
