COVID-19 Update

LifePath Systems is continuing to provide critical mental health, substance use, and developmental disability services to members of our community.  You may call us at the following numbers to schedule a virtual visit or to determine if a face to face visit is available.

We continue to follow all Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Texas Health and Human Services recommendations in order to ensure the safety of our workforce and individuals served.  If you are planning to come to one of our locations, please be aware of the following:

  • We will complete a brief screening including a temperature check when you enter the facility.
  • We will ask you to wear a mask and we will provide one if necessary.
  • We will ask that you maintain at least 6 feet of distance between you and anyone else while at our facility.
  • We will ask that you wash your hands after touching any frequently touched surfaces.
  • Please stay home if you are sick. Give us a call and we will assist you via phone or telehealth.

We know that the effects of this worldwide pandemic and the associated economic hardships can negatively affect a person’s mental wellbeing.  Please pass on our contact information to your family, friends, and neighbors who may be struggling at this time.  We are here to help.

LifePath Systems Services During COVID-19 Outbreak

LifePath Systems is closely monitoring the spread of COVID-19 and taking every precaution necessary for the safety of the people we serve, our workforce, and the community.

We have implemented telehealth* and phone based services** to provide care in the safest manner possible.

If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, STAY HOME and please call your primary care provider or local hospital.

For New Referrals or those interested in Starting Services:

Please call us toll free at 844-544-5939 in order to schedule a service.  If you believe you may be in a crisis, please call our Crisis Hotline at 877-422-5939.

For Individuals Currently Enrolled in Services:

If you have an existing appointment, don’t worry, we will call you to conduct your visit over the phone or via telehealth.  If you want to schedule increased services or have questions, please call us toll free at 844-544-5939.

*Telehealth services are traditional services (psychiatry, counseling, rehabilitation, speech therapy, service coordination, etc.) provided over a secure app such as Zoom.  We will ask you to download the app to your phone or computer first.  Then we will send you a link with information on how to connect with us via that link.

**If unable to use an app such as Zoom, we can also provide services over the telephone.

COVID-19 update, March 16th:

As we continue to watch the news reports about the spread of COVID-19, I want you all to know that LifePath Systems has been taking all state and federal recommended precautions to protect the wellbeing of our staff and the individuals we serve.  We realize that many individuals rely on the services provided by LifePath Systems.  We want to assure you that we will continue all essential services during this critical time.  Please call our Crisis Hotline at 877-422-5939 or our Outpatient Clinic at 844-544-5939 so we can help you.  We are implementing a variety of options to ensure those who need us most can access care.

  • We are moving as many services as possible to telehealth or phone visits. Please call your provider prior to your appointment to verify.
  • We are encouraging all workforce members and individuals served who may be experiencing flu-like symptoms to stay home until fever free without use of medication for 24 hours.
  • We are encouraging those populations identified as most vulnerable to cancel services and practice social distancing. If there is something you need, please call us and let us find an alternative way to assist you.
  • We are cancelling all groups through the month of March effective immediately. If you currently attend a group, please check with your provider to see if individual sessions, telehealth, or phone check-ins are available.
  • We are canceling all external meetings throughout the month of March.
  • We are closing our residential facilities to outside visitors as recommended by Texas Health & Human Services to protect medically fragile individuals. All workforce members are screened prior to each shift.
  • We are encouraging our workforce to use flexible schedules and work from home if possible to reduce the number of individuals in our facilities at any one time.

We are continuing to monitor the situation closely with both federal, state and local officials to communicate and follow the CDC guidance for businesses and personal preparedness.  We will continue to update this page with any new changes to our services.
