LifePath Systems’ Military Veteran Peer Network (MVPN) Program began in September 2015. The program is composed of MVPN Coordinator, Clark Gullette, along with his dedicated volunteers. These two employees are charged with the task of providing outreach to service members, veterans and their families (SMVF). The Military Veteran Peer Networks’ mission is to establish camaraderie and trust with each other, identifying and vetting community resources and, collectively contributing to the communities where we live. Our goals are to provide one-on-one peer support sessions, Veteran peer groups, Veteran Treatment Court support, to increase access to Military-informed culturally competent mental health providers, and to create an inclusive environment where SMVF peers can gather to share experiences and create supportive relationships. | ![]() |
MVPN Certified Peer Service Coordinator – Clark Gullette:
Clark Gullette – A long time resident of Texas, joined the Marine Corps and rose to the rank of E-5 Sergeant, was involved in many overseas deployments most notable Operation Desert Storm and the Liberation of Kuwait. Discharging honorably at the end of his active duty status, Clark continued his commitment by volunteering for Veterans and their families in any way he could find, and has volunteered for over twenty years in one capacity or another. Jackey Babb:
Jackey Babb having served honorably in the Army During Desert Shield/Storm, he returned to Texas and began his journey of volunteering, helping other veterans access resources and mental health services he’d come to rely on and advocates for veterans in need. Utilizing skills he’d gained while volunteering he obtained the necessary certification to formally volunteer as a peer group facilitator. Once establishing himself as a dedicated partisan to veterans alike in the community, he decided to change directions in his life and work for veteran’s full time. Currently Jackey is the Assistant Veteran Coordinator of Collin County under the authority of the Texas Veterans Commission.
