Looking to get involved?  LifePath Systems offers a variety of ways to become involved and show your support.  Did you know that one in four people are diagnosed with a mental illness and one to three percent of our population lives with a developmental disability.   We have both individual and group volunteer opportunities.  Here are just a few of the opportunities you may be interested in:

*Office support (Allen, McKinney, Plano, or Rockwall).  Answering the phones, assisting with mass mailings, making copies, filing, and data entry.

*Provide recreational activities for people living in a group home, have birthday parties, holiday parties, game nights, etc.

*Yard work and office maintenance, such as planting flowers, repairing fences, painting, tree trimming, lawn maintenance.

*Clinical volunteers needed for counseling and medical services, (must meet specific licensing requirements).

*Local Outreach for Suicide Survivors (LOSS) Team. Outreach and support to suicide survivors from mental health professionals and/or other suicide survivors (must meet specific requirements)

All volunteers with direct client contact must be 18 years of age, have a HS diploma or GED, three references, pass a criminal background check and complete the agency orientation.

Planning and Network Advisory Committee (PNAC)

Advisory committee, appointed by LifePath’s Board of Trustees’, who is composed of at least 9 members, 50% of who are clients or family members of clients.  PNAC is actively involved in the development of Consolidated Local Service Plan and Provider Network Development Plan.
